Kerrie Lang, Integrator

30 years of playing piano, 10 years at Thornton Brothers, 8 precious pets, 2 adorable children, 1 loving husband, and a partridge in a pear tree. Kerrie’s stats are impressive, and that doesn’t even include what she does on a daily basis for Thornton Brothers. As Integrator, Kerrie is the glue that holds the organization together, and she also manages the IT Department. She personally interviewed, hired, and trained most of the current team members, cultivating a talented, hard-working group of people who complement the Thornton Brothers culture.

Kerrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Economics from UGA, a Certificate of Innovative Distribution from Purdue University, and a master’s degree in Management, Strategy, and Leadership from Michigan State University. She came to Thornton Brothers with experience as Assistant Director of Operations at a manufacturing plant, and started as a Customer Service Representative. She served as Purchasing Manager before being promoted to Integrator, and she still finds ways to help with those positions when her expertise is needed. She is a Board Member of AFFLINK’s Emerging Executives Board and she particularly enjoys the culture, family environment, and people at Thornton Brothers.

When asked what makes Thornton Brothers unique, she says, “Our ability to stand behind our beliefs and values in every situation. We really believe in helping our customers define and establish their future, so that they can do what they do best.” Kerrie lives in Hull and enjoys playing piano, reading, baking with her kids, traveling with her family, and supporting the arts.
